Master Jubilee

To mark the company’s 45th anniversary, clearaudio has expanded the Reference Jubilee concept with a raised chassis and an external motor unit. This gives the Master Jubilee space for a second tonearm and even more possibilities for individual setups.

Perfectly Decoupled

The externally positioned motor operates with regulated 24-volt power supply and is decoupled from the chassis via the IMS system with 18 O-rings. The design objective is particularly effective control of resonances and interference.

Over 30 kilogrammes of audiophile mass: The curved Panzerholz chassis of the Master Jubilee guarantees maximum freedom from resonance.

Heavy Hitter

An additional mass plate beneath the actual platter increases the total weight of the turntable to over 30 kilograms. The high mass supports particularly smooth and constant rotation.

High-tech at your fingertips: The self-calibrating motor control ensures impeccable speed stability at the touch of a button.

Precise Motor Control

Like the Reference Jubilee, the Master Jubilee also uses a self-calibrating motor control with a spring-suspended drive design. The result is excellent wow and flutter values and permanently precise speed control. The Professional Power 24V power supply is included.

Specifications

DESIGN PRINCIPLE:
  • Resonance-optimised turntable geometry
  • Double sandwich construction of laminated wood and aluminium
  • Optical Speed Control (OSC) speed regulation
  • “IMS – Innovative Motor Suspension”
    (Counter-rotating motor suspension using 18 O-rings)
SPEED RANGE: 33 ⅓, 45, 78 rpm
DRIVE:
  • Belt drive with high-torque DC motor
  • Fully automatic self-calibration of speed at the touch of a button
  • Hybrid motor control: A high-resolution 12-bit digital-to-analogue converter (DAC) generates a motor reference voltage, which is fed into the purely analogue motor control. Automatic compensation for friction and temperature changes on the platter bearing and belt. This ensures the speed remains in the perfect range at all times.
BEARING: Inverted, ground and polished ceramic bearing spindle, sintered bronze bushing, including patented CMB magnetic bearing technology,
PLATTER: Solid 70 mm platter made of high-density technical polymer with excellent dimensional stability, dynamically balanced.
15 mm CNC precision-turned, solid stainless steel sub-platter, dynamically balanced.
WOW AND FLUTTER: < ± 0.05 %
POWER CONSUMPTION:
  • Max. power consumption: 8.64 watts
  • In operation: 2.4 watts
  • Switched off: 1.4 watts
WEIGHT: approx. 33 kg (without tonearm and power supply), motor unit approx. 4.6 kg
DIMENSIONS (W/D/H): approx. 495 mm × 426.5 mm × 242.5 mm (with tonearm base, without tonearm)
