The Idea and the People Behind Vinyl Vision 3000

The project got its start at the exclusive Prague music club Doupě during the COVID-19 pandemic. Musicians couldn’t play together, let alone perform in front of an audience. On the initiative of club founder Petr Chmela, artists from around the world began sharing recordings with one another. Isolation gave way to connection, and the result was the unique rock album *Isolation (333)*, featuring rock legends Ian Paice, Glenn Hughes, Don Preston, and Robbie McIntosh, among many others.

This laid the foundation for a new kind of vinyl recording: a clear commitment to sound, expression, art, craftsmanship, and enduring values.

“My projects aren’t meant to simply produce yet another object or product; rather, they are meant to be something extraordinary—created with dedication, high standards, and respect for the people who feel music deeply.”

The Three Pillars of Vinyl Vision 3000

1. Sound

Vinyl Vision 3000 was developed as a reference material for high-end audio systems. This includes a precise analog production process—including mastering—and the handcrafted production of 180-gram vinyl records at GZ Media, the world’s largest vinyl manufacturer. Each release is assigned a unique production number and comes with transparent documentation of its origin and production process.

2. Light

A technology that is unique worldwide makes it possible to apply holographic text and effects directly to the vinyl surface without affecting sound quality.

3. Total Work of Art

Every detail, every piece of content is part of a holistic work of art: vinyl, design, posters, books, booklets, and, of course, a certificate of authenticity. Each copy is numbered. Depending on the edition, additional collectibles are included, such as music cassettes, guitar picks, drumsticks, and other project-related items.

Availability and Outlook

All three titles available so far are available exclusively worldwide from clearaudio-authorized dealers and in the clearaudio Analogshop.
