Milled from Solid

Visually, the balance V2 recalls the excellence of the absolute phono. The precision-milled housing made from solid aluminium is available in silver or, on request, black anodised.

Versatile connectivity: The rear panel of the clearaudio balance V2 features XLR and RCA sockets that can be used in parallel, as well as gold-plated sockets for interference-free signal transmission.

Flexible Connections

The phono preamplifier offers outputs for headphones with 6.3-millimetre jack as well as XLR and RCA, which can be used in parallel. Gold-plated RCA inputs and outputs support precise and low-interference signal transmission.

Ideal for MM and MC: The high-quality clearaudio balance V2 phono preamplifier and its dedicated power supply can be precisely tailored to different cartridge set-ups.

For MM and MC

XLR or RCA input as well as MM or MC operation can be selected on the underside. This allows the balance V2 to be adapted to different cartridges and setups.

Everything at your fingertips: The elegant front panel of the clearaudio balance allows for manual volume control via a rotary knob and features an easily accessible headphone output right on the front.

Convenient Control

The volume can be adjusted manually on the front panel and additionally switched to mute or automatic mode at the touch of a button. In automatic mode, the output level is at maximum performance.

Content

Like the basic V2, the balance V2 also features cartridge adaptation for many MM and MC systems available on the market. The RIAA equalisation achieves an accuracy of less than 0.1 decibels; a switchable subsonic filter suppresses particularly low frequencies.

External Power Supply

Potentially interfering mains frequencies are reduced by the external power supply in a separate aluminium housing as well as by earthing via the ground connection.
