Clearaudio opens the door to genuine high-end technology with the ready-to-play compass turntable: compact, uncompromising, and accessible. The result of over two years of development, the compass distills the full fascination of analog sound reproduction into a singular experience, for everyone who wants not just to listen to music, but to truly feel it.
To make high-quality vinyl enjoyment possible in this price segment, we concentrated our expertise on the elements that matter most to sound quality. At its heart lies a precision bearing combined with a meticulously crafted platter and sub-platter system. Added to this are the new T1 tonearm – a compact version of our proven Satisfy tonearm – and the specially developed N1 MM cartridge. Together, they create a sound experience that far exceeds the expectations for compact-class systems.
Every acoustically relevant component, from tonearm and cartridge to bearing, is manufactured with utmost care at our facility in Erlangen. Precisely machined parts, selected materials, and a design focused on durability embody the Clearaudio signature quality: handmade in Germany.
The compass impresses not only with its sound but also with its clear design language. Available in black or silver, its look blends purist elegance with technical sophistication. A solid steel plate on the underside ensures stability and supports low-resonance performance. A high-quality acrylic dust cover with stainless steel hinges protects the turntable without disrupting the design.
The Clearaudio compass is delivered fully assembled and ready to play, allowing direct entry into the world of high-fidelity music enjoyment. A user-friendly toggle switch on the underside of the unit selects the desired speed, while the precisely engineered tonearm is gently lowered using a turned aluminum lever. Height-adjustable feet with integrated decoupling ensure optimal smoothness of operation.
The Clearaudio compass will be available from mid-August 2025.
